Chris Bury, an ABC News correspondent for nearly 25 years, has been assigned to Nightline since 1993, where he served frequently as a substitute for anchor Ted Koppel. Bury reported and anchored Nightline from Afghanistan and reported on the Iraq war from Qatar. He has earned five Emmy awards for his work at Nightline and received Columbia University-DuPont honors for his reporting on World News Tonight.

David Frum is the author of five books, including the New York Times bestseller An End to Evil: How To Win the War on Terror with co-author Richard Perle. His sixth book, The Next Republican President, will be published in early 2007. Frum is a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and writes columns for National Review Online, Canada’s National Post and Italy’s Il Foglio.
John J. Mearsheimer is a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and a contributor to National Review Online. From 1993 to 1996, while an assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, he led the prosecution against the jihad organization of Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman. Following the September 11 attacks, Mr. McCarthy supervised the U.S. attorney’s Anti-Terrorism Command Post in New York City, coordinating investigative and preventive efforts with numerous federal and state law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
John Yoo is a professor of law at the University of California at Berkeley School of Law, where he has taught since 1993. From 2001 to 2003, he served as a deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel of the U.S. Department of Justice, and from 1995 to 1996 as general counsel of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Professor Yoo is the author of War by Other Means: An Insider’s Account of the War on Terror.

Bob Barr represented the 7th District of Georgia in the U. S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003, serving as a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, vice-chairman of the Government Reform Committee, and as a member of the Committee on Financial Services. He occupies the 21st Century Liberties Chair for Freedom and Privacy at the American Conservative Union, and serves as a Board Member of the National Rifle Association. He is also a columnist, syndicated radio show host and author.
Jeffrey Rosen is a professor of law at the George Washington University Law School and the legal affairs editor of the New Republic. He is the author of The Unwanted Gaze: The Destruction of Privacy in America, which the New York Times called “the definitive text on privacy perils in the digital age,” and The Naked Crowd: Reclaiming Security and Freedom in an Anxious Age, named one of the year’s best books by the San Francisco Chronicle.
Nadine Strossen, professor of law at New York Law School, has written, lectured, and practiced extensively in the areas of constitutional law, civil liberties, and international human rights. Since 1991, she has served as president of the American Civil Liberties Union, the first woman to head the nation’s largest and oldest civil liberties organization. The National Law Journal has twice named her one of “The 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America.”
