Julian is director of the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics and of the Program on Ethics and Biosciences in the James Martin 21st Century School. He is also head of the Melbourne-Oxford Stem Cell Collaboration, which is devoted to examining the ethical implications of cloning and embryonic stem cell research. His areas of research include the ethics of genetics, research ethics, medical ethics, sports ethics, and the analytic philosophical basis of practical ethics.

Richard has been named to Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world for his relentless efforts to rid sport of performance-enhancing drugs. Pound was an Olympic finalist at the Games of the XVII Olympiad in Rome in 1960, is a 30-year member of the International Olympic Committee and is a former president of the Canadian Olympic Committee. He is currently the chancellor of McGill University in Montreal.

Saturday, 27 April 2013 18:37 posted by Luke Otfinowski I was genuinely excited to view this debate, but was unfortunately immensely disappointed. Granted, i have been watching the latest debates with the new format which may have spoiled me, but this 3 panel format lacks flow, and most of all Bob Costas is an extremely poor moderator. The debate gets off topic often without direction, and it often seems like a 4 to 3 attack.
